An Introduction to AI Writer PRO

An Introduction to AI Writer PRO

I believe the best way to start our relationship here is with a brief (or perhaps not so brief) introduction. With that, allow me to share my desire to leave a not-so-fun engineering job in my twenties for a life I absolutely loved as an ice hockey coach.

This is significant because it was in ice hockey that I began experimenting in some areas that proved just as valuable in a later career in Internet marketing.

One of the first coaching symposiums I attended opened my eyes to the use of video by high-level coaches. It was 1980, video technology was new and extremely expensive, and portable video cameras and equipment were even pricier. Nonetheless, eager to distinguish myself and play with the big boys, I jumped right in. The video units back then were analog, with the results of each recording going onto one of two different types of tape, either Beta or VHS. I chose the latter and quickly immersed myself in studying my players or hockey school students on tape. As you can imagine, this ability set me apart from most other coaches, and the gap widened even further as I learned to produce instructional videos – first for my hockey school classrooms and eventually for sale throughout the hockey world. It truly was remarkable how these seemingly simple capabilities expanded my notoriety and my business.

It had to be pure luck that I found myself running hockey skills clinics for the women’s team at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Boston, Massachusetts. For, at one evening practice, an observer asked if he could write an article about me and publish it on the Internet. I’d heard about this new thing called the Internet, and I figured that any publicity would benefit my business, but… On yet another occasion, several of the young women players asked if they could build a website for me. That, however, terrified me.

Yet, luck continued to smile upon me… A few months later, a local hockey parent and youth coach approached me at my summer hockey school with a proposal. “Listen, I’ve just started a company to build websites for local businesses, and I think your type of business is perfect for the web!” Again, like with the MIT ladies, I initially declined. However, a few days later, I came to my senses and have joked since then that, “My hockey friend dragged me kicking and screaming onto the Net!” Since this was close to the start of the Internet’s popularity, I’ll make a long story short by saying that my new friend taught me more about doing business online than I could have ever imagined.

Soon, digital video and audio replaced analog, and I was on my way. My videos were ultimately accessible virtually around the world, as was a podcast I started a little later.

Then, more luck struck. The publisher of a popular hockey magazine contacted me one day and asked if I’d write an article about an invention I’d just created to improve hockey skating. That’s another lengthy story – my new gadget coming about after extensive video analysis of an adult player. The publisher and I hit it off, leading to me writing a regular advice column for his magazine over about the next 15 years. Unfortunately, as happened to many hardcopy magazines of that time, my friend’s publication eventually couldn’t keep up with the numerous online alternatives.

This as a quick aside, and intended as food for thought for my new AI Writer PRO friends… As sharp as that publisher was, I think he failed to foresee the changes coming in his industry. Or, if he did, he didn’t react quickly enough to save his business. I’ve witnessed similar situations involving several friends and relatives in recent years.

Still, I’m the lucky one. I learned to write fairly well at one point and eventually compiled several training manuals purchased by hockey enthusiasts at all levels, including National Hockey League and European teams.

Have I mentioned my good fortune yet? Of course, but I’ve also alluded to being the inquisitive type, and the kind of person who enjoys doing things that others either won’t or can’t do.

As another quick aside, I’d like to mention that I wish my wife had been with me during those early days in hockey. Nevertheless, I’m extremely grateful that Brenda joined me a little later in life, just in time for us to enjoy the latest revolution together. I’m also excited that she’s as daring as I am when it comes to trying new things.

And so, we stumbled upon “artificial intelligence.” Our journey into AI was quite serendipitous, but we followed hints about its benefits to become among some of the earliest “regular people” to fully immerse ourselves in AI.

I’ll never forget Brenda and me huddled over a laptop in our earliest venture into AI. We’d brainstorm a question – later known as a prompt, type it into the model, and then chuckle heartily as the bot produced an answer almost before we finished typing! We’d repeat this process, and laugh even more. Gradually, we discovered that AI could be our go-to tool whenever we were stumped about almost anything. Brenda even found it helpful for recipes.

Of course, the time eventually came for us to get serious about AI. One of the first things I did was delve deeper into those so-called “prompts” and eventually explore a new field of study known as “Prompt Engineering.” The truth of the matter was that I quickly realized how AI could save me weeks, if not months, of research and assist me in putting together a book entitled “Mastering The Art of Prompt Engineering – A Comprehensive Guide to Enhancing Natural Language Processing.” Even the artwork for that book was generated by AI.

Now, I retired from coaching on the ice quite some time ago, but I still maintain a hockey advice site that demands a lot of writing – approximately 700 posts to date. And, if you’re not aware, “writer’s block” is a real thing. So, I’ve turned to AI and eventually AI Writer PRO for assistance with one or two articles per month. Images are hard to come by when you write as frequently as I do, so it’s a massive weight off my shoulders when I can turn to AI for those.

I could go on about Brenda’s and my use of AI outside of this website, but I think you’ll appreciate it even more if I share just the ways we’ve managed to use it here.

Let’s start with the need for ideas. For instance, one would need a crystal ball to predict how ebooks can benefit a business. However, AI quickly provided insights, created a script for the video about “Ebooks As A Marketing Strategy,” and improved our prompts, ensuring the script was a specified length and free from plagiarism.

The same process applied to all the videos throughout this site, including those associated with sales. We just needed to ask the right questions and provide the appropriate parameters for our needs.

The same went for all the written content you see, from the Home page to all the other pages on this site. Besides being intelligent enough to trust AI, Brenda and I can’t take much credit for the titles and descriptions herein. For instance, AI generated the “Check our blog regularly for insider tips, actionable techniques, publishing guidance, writing motivation, and more from both experts and aspiring writers” seen above. And such has been the case as we’ve built each section within this site.

Now, all the applications in our “toolbox” have been integrated slowly, so we’re just beginning to experiment with them as I write this piece. Rest assured, we plan to share valuable insights into using each tool, and we wouldn’t mind if members shared their own discoveries.

Regarding this first blog post, you’ll be interested to know that I plan to eventually entrust it to AI and request assistance only with spelling and grammar. I prefer not to alter my style at this time.

Lastly, about style… Did you know that AI can be asked to write a piece in a famous author’s style? As a matter of fact, that’s the theme of our next post, where we’ll explore the styles of authors like JK Rowling, Stephen King, James Patterson, Suzanne Collins, and many others.

    Congrats Brenda and Dennis.

You guys weren’t kidding when you said you had an awesome project coming out. I don’t have the words to express how blown away I am by AI Writer Pro.

Now I’m going to get into it and see if I can come up with something which will benefit some other folks.
